Approval of PhD Plan to Study Impact of Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Risk Management

An academic committee from the College of Development Studies, chaired by Dr. Yusuf Bani Younis, the Dean of the College, has approved the research plan prepared by Saudi doctoral researcher Sami Mohammed Jameel Majlad in the Department of Disaster and Strategic Risk Management. The study aims to analyze the impact of employing artificial intelligence techniques in risk management through a practical study at Umm Al-Qura University.

The decision to approve the plan came after a seminar session held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 9:00 PM Mecca time, under the supervision of the Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main center. The committee included, in addition to its chair, Dr. Riham Arsheed Naseer and Dr. Omar Busha'la.
