Media Center Prepares for New Semester

Engineer Abdullah Al-Mansoub, Director of the Media Center, announced that the center is undertaking numerous important tasks before the start of each academic term, including the preparation of various media materials that are essential for a university striving for leadership in the field of distance education.

Engineer Al-Mansoub pointed out that the center is responsible for designing all official templates for daily and weekly class schedules, in addition to a large number of course profiles, which can exceed 400 profiles for each semester. Each profile includes the course name, room number, class time, and instructor's name, with a design that reflects the content of the course, as each course, department, and college has a specific format.

He also added that the Media Center has introduced new designs that enable instructors to add their academic content and explanations, making them ready for presentation via Zoom as slides on PowerPoint during lectures. After the lecture, these materials are uploaded to the academic system portal, along with the video recording provided by the Educational Rooms Unit, allowing students to access them at any time.

Engineer Al-Mansoub emphasized that the center prepares all administrative structures and communication guides for colleges and departments, in addition to designing welcome cards and templates for students and instructors, along with the necessary instructions in various artistic designs. These efforts accompany the educational process until the end of the semester.

He concluded by noting that what has been mentioned is just a sample of the tasks undertaken by the center, as there are many non-standard requests that are completed before the start of the educational process.
