University Activities Harvest for April 2025

The university witnessed distinguished activities during April 2025, with numerous research papers and books published by faculty members.
Dar Maraya for Printing and Publishing in Dubai released the first edition of the book "Kingdoms of the Zanj" by Dr. Ismail Hamed, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities. The book discusses the history of the Zanj people, their notable figures, and the role of Arabs in establishing their kingdoms, comprising 16 chapters across 480 pages.
Additionally, the Journal of Law at Al-Bayan University in Iraq published two papers by Associate Professor Dr. Mohammed Shaib Abdul-Maqsood, the head of the law department; the first titled "The Impact of Legal Formality on Rights Evidence," and the second "The Role of Mediation in Resolving Commercial Disputes to Attract Foreign Investments," both in Volume 4, Issue 1 (2025).
In related news, Dr. Salah Faraj and Dr. Fatima Jumaa Al-Wahsh participated in the international scientific symposium on "The Global Woman's Role in Strengthening Critical Thinking in the Technological Generation" held in Tetouan, Morocco. Dr. Salah presented a distinguished paper titled "The Impact of Technology on Children and the Mother's Role in Guidance and Counseling," while Dr. Fatima delivered a paper on the role of women in enhancing critical thinking.
Also published was a paper by Dr. Hani Jirjis titled "Recurring Crime: A Theoretical Analysis of Its Causes and Mitigation Mechanisms" in the Peer-reviewed Burout Journal. Dr. Abdullah Hamet published a paper titled "Renewal and Ijtihad: An Analytical Study in Light of the Objectives of Islamic Law" in the Scientific Development Journal.
In the field of media, Professor Hassan Mohammed Abdullah Al-Bayti published a paper on "Ways to Adopt a Culture of Sharing Preprints in the Arab Scientific Research Community." Meanwhile, Dar Amjad published the book "Theories of International Relations" authored by Dr. Hadi Barham and Dr. Hind Al-Jaldawi.
The Journal of Social Empowerment published a paper by Dr. Walid Al-Tuni titled "The Regulatory Framework of Internal Parliamentary Regulations and Its Impact on Legislative Performance." Additionally, Dr. Elias Al-Hani's paper titled "Ethical Philosophy in the Modern European Context" appeared in the Journal of Critique and Enlightenment.
In legal studies, the Journal of International Law and Business published a paper by Dr. Ayman Al-Halahlah on "Artificial Intelligence and Crime: Legal Frameworks for Criminal Liability." Dr. Nancy Al-Faqi also published a paper titled "Towards a Theory of Civil Liability for Users of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Procedures."
