Meeting of College of Educational Sciences Council

The Council of the College of Educational Sciences at the Islamic University of Minnesota held its regular meeting, chaired by Professor Abdullah Abdulnabi, Dean of the College, on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 9 PM Mecca time, lasting for one hour.
The Dean and the council members discussed the agenda items, focusing on the progress of the college and the follow-up of department heads with faculty members and students through departmental groups. They also reviewed the ease of use of the new portal, referencing the explanation provided by the IT Department.
Among the topics discussed were the final exams for the summer semester and the university textbook. Dr. Noorhan Ibrahim Abdulmoneim facilitated the dialogue, and Dr. Mohamed Hosni, Head of the Curriculum and Instruction Department, was chosen to lead the University Textbook Committee, with the task of forming committee members from various departments.
The Dean listened to contributions from several members, who emphasized the importance of the university textbook and the need for collaboration in this matter. Additionally, issues concerning students, summaries submitted to the new portal, and the necessity of monitoring the College Council and department heads’ groups were addressed.
The meeting was attended by several prominent academic figures, including Assoc. Prof. Heba Abu Ayadah, Dr. Anas Nawafleh, Dr. Dua Qatnani, Dr. Mohammed Hosni, Dr. Khetam Al-Twalbeh, Dr. Laith Al-Zawahra, and Dr. Noorhan Ibrahim, who recorded the minutes of the meeting.
