Salama Holds Meeting for Administrative Affairs Unit of Colleges

Doctor Nourhan Salama, Dean of Faculty Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, held a meeting for the Administrative Affairs Unit of the colleges, attended by the Deputy Vice President, Dr. Zainab Ali Basyouni, the Unit Director, Ms. Maha Mohammed Abdu, and all team members, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 9:00 PM Mecca time.
The meeting's objectives, as outlined in the minutes, included discussing the main administrative and organizational challenges facing the colleges and proposing effective solutions to improve workflow and enhance performance efficiency.
During the meeting, an overview was presented of the key points that college directors should focus on, as well as the main areas for improving academic and organizational management.
The meeting featured contributions from unit team members, who reported on the stability of administrative conditions within their colleges and highlighted some challenges they face. In this context, the need to improve performance and overcome obstacles was emphasized, along with practical suggestions for enhancing communication mechanisms between administrations, and discussing ways to reduce routine procedures and simplify administrative processes.
The meeting, which lasted two and a half hours, concluded with the following recommendations:
- Active presence within the colleges and working towards their development in all aspects.
- Continuous follow-up and periodic evaluation of administrative performance to ensure ongoing improvement.
- Fostering a spirit of teamwork and a sense of responsibility towards assigned tasks.
Attendees included Dr. Nourhan Ibrahim Abdulmoneim, Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Educational Sciences; Dr. Badi'a Abdulqader, Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Media; Ms. Hanadi Abdullah, Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Computer Science and Information Technology; Ms. Banan Saif, Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Economics and Business Administration; Ms. Aneesa Al-Zikri, Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Islamic Studies; Ms. Khadeeja Radman, Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Development Studies; Ms. Mariam Mohammed, Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Sharia and Law; and Ms. Samira Al-Sagheer, Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Arts and Humanities.
