Student Affairs Dean Celebrates Top Students

Under the slogan "Allah raises those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge by degrees," the Deanship of Student Affairs, through its two units Undergraduate Student Affairs and Graduate Student Affairs held a ceremony to honor the top students of the second semester of the past academic year. This event was overseen by Dr. Zainab Ali Basyouni, Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Sulaiman Maqbool, Director of Undergraduate Student Affairs, and Ms. Omaima Adel, Director of Graduate Student Affairs.

The celebration took place over two days; on the first day, Thursday, April 24, 2025, the top students of levels and departments were honored, while on the second day, Friday, April 25, the top students of colleges, the university, and graduating students were recognized.

The ceremony included a speech by Mr. Sulaiman Maqbool, who expressed: "Praise be to Allah, who opened the doors of knowledge and made excellence the fruit of determination and effort. On this bright day of achievements, the Student Affairs Administration proudly stands to honor a group of our top students who have illuminated the sky of knowledge and exemplified the highest meanings of excellence."

In her speech, Ms. Omaima Adel addressed the top students, saying: "You are our gateway to a bright and abundant future, and we are proud of you. The university supports you so that your contributions remain fragrant, your loyalty precious, and your excellence continues."

Several faculty members, including deans and department heads, shared celebratory posts expressing their feelings about this occasion, with contributions from Dr. Zainab Ali Basyouni, Dr. Abdul Razak Al-Bakri, Dr. Munir Abdel Bari, among others.

It is noteworthy that the number of top students at each level in the undergraduate program reached 236, with additional recognition for 27 department leaders, 14 college leaders, and 7 level leaders, along with 28 graduates.

In the graduate program, 112 students were honored, including 82 in the master's program and 30 in the doctoral program, with additional recognition for several top students.
