About the Center
Center Overview
In line with the mission of the Islamic University of Minnesota to disseminate knowledge, promote scientific research, and graduate distinguished students capable of contributing effectively to the advancement of the Ummah and society, the Center for Research and Studies was established to be the beating heart of scientific research at the University and a leading academic reference. It supervises undergraduate graduation projects and supplementary research for master’s students, unifies research standards, and monitors research performance across all University colleges, while developing an advanced digital and scholarly environment that integrates authenticity with modernity and fosters global research collaboration.
Center Vision
- To be a global center of expertise in scientific research, a platform for academic supervision, and a knowledge gateway for the Islamic University of Minnesota.

Center Mission
- To provide rigorous academic supervision of university research; produce and disseminate original knowledge; and build bridges of global research collaboration that serve the Islamic and human communities.
- To support researchers and students in producing outstanding research and to provide a stimulating environment for innovation and scholarly collaboration.
- To support original and contemporary studies and offer knowledge-based solutions to the issues facing the Ummah.
Center Task
- Supervising undergraduate graduation projects.
- Supervising supplementary research for master’s students.
- Monitoring and organizing research activities across all University colleges.
- Developing unified academic regulations and standards for research.
- Supporting scientific publishing and issuing an internationally peer-reviewed journal.
- Organizing internal and international scientific conferences and forums.
- Qualifying and training students and researchers in research methodologies and approaches.
- Building international research partnerships that serve the University and the causes of the Ummah.
- Supervising research projects submitted by faculty members and students.
- Establishing frameworks for cooperation with various institutions and disseminating the Center’s publications.

- Academic Supervision: Supervising and monitoring all university research (undergraduate and master’s levels).
