Goals of the Media Center

  1. Introducing the role of the university, its academic and research mission, and its role in educating the community. 
  2. To highlight the university as a beacon of science and knowledge that operates according to Islamic values and long-standing academic traditions. 
  3. Enhancing communication between the university, the community, and public and private institutions, including the various media, and promoting a positive mental image. 
  4. Introducing the community and its internal segments to the university's achievements, which urges them to excel in the educational process, conduct research, and serve the community. 
  5. Introducing the community and its external segments to the university's achievements and gaining their confidence in its outputs. 
  6. Building close relationships with the media and its employees and building bridges of communication with them to achieve the goals and strategies of the university. 
  7. Carrying out scientific studies to determine the needs of the community, uncover the causes of the negative image, and work to treat them.

Tasks of the Media Center

  1. Media documentation of all university activities. 
  2. Showcasing the university in the media. 
  3. Media coverage of all activities of His Excellency the President of the University. 
  4. Providing the university's departments, colleges and all sectors with what is published in the media about the university's educational policy and activities through press files, media reports, and introducing the university's website. 
  5. Providing the community and publishing and research centers with accurate statistics and documented information about the university.
  6.  Coordinating and preparing with media agencies that wish to conduct media interviews and scientific programs within the university. 
  7. Organizing press conferences for senior management. 
  8. Responding to press inquiries after presenting them to the competent authorities. 
  9. Preparing a periodical (News Letter) that includes events, activities and achievements, and distributing it inside and outside the university. 
  10. Establishing an information base and data on the university's achievements and on the various media. 
  11. Conducting studies and researches to measure the satisfaction rates of students and visitors. 
  12. Developing plans and programs that aim to achieve the goals of the center. 
  13. Managing the university's advertising and social media and publishing all the center's publications.
