Publishing Conditions

The newspaper receives the contributions of academics and students from the university's employees mainly, and from outside it according to the following limits:

  1. Commitment to the constants of the university's literature and the newspaper such as vision, mission, values ​​and goals, and not deviating from them. 
  2. Commitment to the values ​​of originality and intellectual property rights in writing and press publishing. 
  3. Commitment to the minimum conditions, standards and rules of ethical, objective, linguistic and technical journalistic writing. 
  4. Commitment to the maximum article length, which is 1500 words, with preference for short and focused articles in publishing opportunities. 
  5. Commitment to the publishing priorities arranged so that they are for positive articles on everything related to the following:
  • The Islamic University of Minnesota / the main center. 
  • The Islamic University of Minnesota 
  • University Distance Education; Its institutions, curricula, means, methods, techniques... 
  • University education in general. 
  • Research. 
  • Education. 
  • Articles on Islamic and human values. 
  • Articles in any field of knowledge, provided that they are original and do not contradict with the literature of the university and the newspaper, and adhere to the minimum conditions and standards of the journalistic article in form and content. 
  • Positivity does not mean that the article is devoid of constructive criticism, if necessary.
