Center's Head

Dr. Emad Qadri Al-Ayyadi

Center Head’s Speech

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon the most honorable messengers, and after

The American University of Minnesota, under the leadership of Professor Walid bin Idris Al-Manisi, and under the management of Professor Dr. Omar Ahmed Al-Muqarmi, does not hesitate to serve Islam and Muslims, being extremely keen to spread the true religion in various corners of the earth, overcoming the difficulties facing students and researchers.

With the increase in scientific dissertations concerned with achieving heritage within this blessed university, we have noticed several things that prompted us to establish this blessed institute, and among these things are:

First: Most researchers have not studied heritage investigation in a way that would enable them to perfect their research. This is because most researchers do not go beyond being educated in this science, even if they have acquired parts of it, but they have missed much of what they need to complete the research satisfactorily.

Second: There is no database that includes the names of books that have been investigated and discussed within the university, which made them vulnerable to being re-investigated again within other universities, and then attributed to new researchers, which represents a waste of the effort of researchers at our blessed university.

Third: The confusion and exhaustion of most university students in searching for manuscripts for investigation, and the difficulty of communicating with manuscript centers and book and document houses. Indeed, many of them have fallen prey to manuscript merchants.

Fourth: There is no official communication between the university and the libraries, documents, and research centers in this aspect. Also, many of these entities refuse to deal with researchers, and need an official body to address them.

Fifth: The number of institutes and universities that grant master’s and doctoral degrees in this specialty is very small, and therefore it is considered a breakthrough to establish an institute that grants these degrees to researchers.

Sixth: Some researchers, and even professors, underestimated this science, because they did not appreciate its value, nor did they seek it from its potential, which emboldened them to work without gathering the tools of this science, so their work came out unsatisfactory, and therefore it was necessary to control these matters.
After God Almighty asked us for help in establishing and establishing this blessed institute (the American University of Minnesota Institute for the Study of Manuscripts and Heritage Verification), Mr. Professor Walid bin Idris Al-Manisi agreed to establish and establish the institute. I also extend my sincere thanks to my brother and beloved, His Eminence Professor Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami, who humbled himself. We have all the difficulties.

and thank Allah the god of everything
