Speech by Center's Director

The Latin American Studies Center is one of the most important newly established centers at the Islamic University in Minnesota, USA. This center aims to equip students, scholars, and researchers with the essential skills needed in various fields of academic studies, which in turn raises general societal awareness politically and intellectually and develops individual capacities among specialized students and researchers concerned with these studies in an era of globalization and changing concepts. The center also aims to lay the foundations of academic thought among students and young researchers in various academic disciplines required by the job market. Additionally, it aims to familiarize individuals with Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries, the Iberian Peninsula, the Caribbean, and South, Central, and North America. The center includes a distinguished group of qualified and specialized scholars to prepare and establish students according to accredited programs that qualify them for the job market with efficiency and competence
