Dr. Anas Mohammed Hassan Nawfalh

Department head’s speech

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

May peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers.

And after

God Almighty swore by the soul in more than one place in His Noble Book. God Almighty said: ((And the soul and everything else, and inspired it with its immorality and piety))

The soul is an essential element in man, and the Holy Qur’an urges us to think about it and develop it in the right ways. From this standpoint, the Department of Educational Psychology seeks to study, nurture and develop the human psyche in the context of education. Plato said: Victory over oneself is the greatest victory. Knowledge of the human soul enables us to know the motives of behavior, the effect of reward and punishment, personality and its components, the nature of mental processes, attention, thinking, intelligence, individual differences, educational strategies, teaching methods, remembering, forgetting, etc. Educational psychology is a broad and vast field, and its history is an integral part. From the general history of humanity, it aims to understand, explain, predict, and control human behavior.

The launch of this department reflects our ambitious vision to provide high-quality education in the field of educational psychology, and achieve better levels of performance and academic excellence. We are confident that this department will be of interest to students, the local and global community, and will provide distinguished opportunities for research and learning in various fields of educational psychology. Improving the educational environment at our university, and providing better opportunities for our students, faculty members, and researchers

I welcome you to the Department of Educational Psychology website, and I would like to affirm our commitment to providing innovative and advanced educational programs in educational psychology. We strive to develop advanced study plans in accordance with the latest international standards to meet the needs of students and help them achieve their academic and professional goals.

In conclusion, on my behalf and on behalf of all the faculty members in the department, we thank you and we are pleased that you continue to provide everything that would serve the vision and goals of the department in particular and the university in general. We congratulate our students and wish them further progress and seriousness and raising the banner of science in all aspects and fields of their scientific and practical lives.
