An overview of the department
The Department of Public Relations is one of the most prominent departments within the College of Mass Communication, Department of Postgraduate Studies. This department teaches master's and doctoral courses. As for the master’s degree, the student studies a dedicated program that deals with a group of public relations courses (strategic communication) related to expanding his theoretical knowledge in this field over a period of three semesters, after which he is granted a master’s degree. As for the doctorate, the student studies only two semesters, followed by discussing the thesis prepared by him according to the established rules at the university, in order to obtain the doctoral degree that his research deserves.

Scientific leadership in the relatively recent sciences of public relations (strategic communication), in addition to acquiring applied experiences in this field, benefiting from the latest findings of research in this new field, without turning our eyes away from our ancient and modern Islamic perceptions considered in this field of knowledge. and its practical applications.
Department Mission
The mission of the department is to prepare specialized scientific competencies, capable of entering the labor market in this field and in all public and private bodies, equipped with an excellent amount of theoretical knowledge and practical capabilities specific to entering the relevant fields of work that are very lacking in this specialization, especially in our Arab and Islamic worlds.
