Writing Controls and Scientific Documentation Standards
- Research papers are written in the Word program, and the font size for research papers written in Arabic is (14) in the body and in the margin (12), if any, and the font type is ''Time News Roman.'' As for research edited in English, it must be a font size of (12).
- Diagrams, maps, pictures and illustrations are included in the body of the text. They can be in color or black and white and numbered sequentially. Their titles are written at the top of the drawing and their sources are directly below the drawing.
- The sources and references are documented in the text according to the (APA) system, as follows:
- If the quotation is in the text, it is documented like this: (Obaid, 2021, page number).
- If the quotation is paraphrased, it is also documented: (Obaid, 2021, page number).
- If the speech is a summary of the idea in general, then it is documented like this: (Obaid, 2021).
Note: Research in the fields of Islamic and Arabic studies is excluded from this method of documentation, where the documentation is in the margin as is customary in research by mentioning the source and the author's nickname, for example: (Fiqh al-Zakat, by al-Qaradawi, p. 44).
- As for documenting the sources and references at the end of the research, it will be in one list, like this: the title of the author, and his first name. (Year of Publication). Book title should be in bold, italics, or underlined (Edition). Place of publication: Publishing house. Example: Obaid, Hanan (2021). Strategic Planning. ( ). Amman, Jordan: Wael Publishing House.
- Sources and references are arranged alphabetically according to the title of the author.
