Many studies on activities and organizations related to development have shown a shortage of specialized human resources in development and the need for these organizations and institutions to work on intensive training of their employees to cover their real needs for specialists and researchers who are capable of working in these institutions and development organizations.

The two departments of the college qualify its graduates theoretically through the curriculum, materials, lectures, and seminars, and practically through workshops and field research, to be able to work in the ministries of development and planning, industry and trade, social development and political development, various media, humanitarian organizations, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, and international organizations in addition to research centers, studies, and specialized consultations in the subject of development, strategic thinking, knowledge economy, and crisis management in all its aspects.
