About the College
The College of Sharia and Law at the Islamic University of Minnesota seeks to achieve the highest levels of Education in the Sharia and legal aspects. It participates in spreading Sharia and legal awareness among the students of the college, in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of the university.
This college is concerned with: teaching Sharia and legal sciences, qualifying its students for fatwas, the judiciary, consultations, and teaching Sharia and legal sciences. It believes in the necessity of building the nation's present on firm foundations, and at the same time it seeks to achieve the new and provide the benefit to society, through a set of goals set by the college.
The college includes three main departments: the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles, the Department of Law, and the Department of Judiciary and Sharia Politics.
