About the Department
The Department of Judiciary and Sharia Politics is one of the most important departments in the College of Sharia and Law. Where it marries the judiciary in Islamic law and Sharia politics, and this section comes based on the need of societies for Sharia judicial services day after day, due to the increase in the population, and the spread of crime of various types, so the need has become urgent to graduate judges, lawyers and Sharia jurists to accomplish these urgent and necessary services that Contribute to reducing crime, and contribute to the reform of the individual and society.

Pioneering and excellence in the jurisprudence of the judiciary and Sharia politics, and qualifying students with the jurisprudence of Sharia politics, which enables them to address contemporary emerging issues in the fields of judiciary, governance and legislation.
Department Mission
Qualifying and preparing qualified human resources from specialists in the field of judiciary and Sharia politics, who are able to employ them to serve the community theoretically and practically, and under the supervision of qualified faculty members, as well as qualifying the student to be able to assume the responsibility of working in the field of Sharia judiciary, separating litigants, and publishing the jurisprudence of legal politics in Islamic societies, and enabling students to address contemporary emerging issues in the areas of judiciary, governance, legislation, and legal politics.

Academic Nature of the Major
It aims to prepare the student in a Sharia-judicial preparation to be able to carry the responsibility of working in the field of Sharia-based justice, and to provide him with theoretical literature and applied fields in Sharia-political issues such as the system of government, money and the management system in Islam to learn about the legal values and rulings related to the judiciary and legal politics.

- Working as an imam and preacher in the Ministry of Islamic Endowments, and so on.
- Preparing graduates to work in Sharia legal advice, whether in the government sector "in the various ministries, the Shura Council, the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution", or in the private sector " in large companies, banks or law firms".
