Activities and means of the unit
Formatting of the unit council, by nominating a member from each faculty, establishing a group for members, and holding the first meeting via Zoom to discuss priorities.
The most prominent projects and activities during this year that the unit seeks to achieve:
- Preparing a database for all research and studies and archiving them in the digital library at the university.
- Preparing guides for writing scientific research and producing them in a way that meets the aspirations of researchers, and adopts the rules of correct methodological scientific research, while adopting the style of ease and clarity.
- Activating the role of scientific academic advising in all disciplines, and preparing a program for that in accordance with the rules and regulations of the university, through groups that gather researchers and those interested in each college or include all colleges.
- Preparing a list of priorities for research topics that contribute to achieving the goals of the university, benefit the community and touch reality, and provide the scientific library with distinct research tributaries.
- Establishing a periodical scientific journal for the university in which the research of faculty members, promotion and court research, as well as student research, is published, and supervised by the unit members.
- Organizing the general conditions and regulations for the registration of scientific research in all educational stages and various disciplines, through the preparation of regulations organized by each college and studied by specialists in the colleges.
- Proposing research projects in majors, studying them from specialists, and presenting them to postgraduate students for registration and research. This includes the investigation of manuscripts in Sharia disciplines and the pursuit of obtaining them.
- Preparing workshops and holding internal and external conferences regarding scientific research and related issues.
