In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the best of all of God’s creation. As for what follows...
In light of the generous patronage of His Eminence Professor Dr. Walid Al-Manisi, and the great interest that Sharia and legal education receives, especially with regard to e-learning and digital transformation; As education is one of the most important basic pillars for countries to advance, by qualifying generations capable of moving on the path of progress and prosperity in all fields, including the field of jurisprudence and its origins, the University of Minnesota is one of the leading universities in the Arab and Islamic world in e-learning and transformation. The Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles is one of the most important departments at the university, and it is affiliated with the College of Sharia and Law. The department is keen to achieve the vision, mission and goals of the university through:
Developing the teaching and learning system
Supporting students, raising their academic and professional level, and developing their skills
Developing the system of scientific research and scientific activities
Developing the capabilities of faculty members
Making it easier for students and providing a distinguished education that contributes to building a distinguished graduate in the field of jurisprudence and its principles, capable of serving Islam through teaching, fatwas, and Sharia judiciary.
Contributing to the internationalization of the university and its elevation to the ranks of international universities
In conclusion, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the President of the University, His Excellency Professor Walid Al-Manisi, his Deputy, His Excellency Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami, the Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, His Excellency Professor Dr. Muzahim Al-Mustafa, and his Deputy, His Excellency Dr. Alaa Al-Husseini, and we wish the entire Islamic world further progress and prosperity, and to the Islamic University of Minnesota. Achieving more leadership and excellence in publishing its scientific message.
