About the Department
The Accounting Department is one of the basic departments in the College of Economics and Business Administration at the Islamic University of Minnesota. The department currently includes a group of faculty members with distinguished qualifications and competencies from various academic schools. The department is working on developing a study plan, taking into account the achievement of integration and interdependence between the courses of those plans, in a way that guarantees fulfillment of the needs of the labor market.

Preparing and qualifying graduates in the field of accounting and financial work who are able to meet the labor market efficiently and effectively and achieve outstanding performance within the quality standards in the field of teaching, training and scientific research by keeping abreast of recent developments in the field of specialization.

Preparing a professionally and technically qualified accounting graduate to be specialized in financial accounting, managerial accounting, costs, auditing and accounting information systems
Providing a high-quality teaching program that takes into account the dynamic changes in the business environment, attracting distinguished scientific competencies, and updating the curricula periodically, with a focus on providing appropriate knowledge, capabilities and skills
Encourage accounting research, disseminate accounting knowledge, and encourage participation in scientific conferences and seminars
