Curricula and Study Plans Section
- Ensure that study plans are fully available in academic departments for all academic levels.
- Ensure the availability of course descriptions according to study plans in academic departments, and according to the form approved by the Commission, and according to the short description form.
- Following up the faculty members and urge them to distribute the brief descriptions to the students at the beginning of each semester.
- Establishing the necessary organization for the committee's files (activities - circulars - study plans, descriptions) and administrative communications (outgoing and incoming), in a way that ensures quick and easy reference to plans and course descriptions.
- Representing the college in meetings related to study plans and course descriptions at the university.
- Informing academic departments and faculty members of any developments in study plans and course descriptions.
- Studying the compatibility of course contents and teaching methods with course objectives and expected learning outcomes, and preparing relevant reports.
- Obtaining feedback from faculty members on the suitability of books and references with course contents, and informing about new books on the market and the availability of existing ones.
- Conducting an exploratory study at the end of each semester to measure the suitability of the course contents with the scientific abilities and capabilities of the students.
- Contacting the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs at the university at the end of each semester with the aim of coordinating with it and reviewing the latest developments regarding the study plans and accompanying descriptions to circulate them to the faculty members of the college.
- Informing the college administration of any developments related to the work of the unit and developments on study plans and course descriptions.
