In its recent years, the world is witnessing an advanced technological information revolution, the effects of which have appeared in most areas of life, especially education. There is no room for any development of education unless everything new that is introduced is rooted within it. Education plays an important role in the lives of individuals, peoples and nations as a fact that contributes to building a personality. An integrated individual capable of serving his community and his human nation, the University of Minnesota is a highly established educational institution that provides higher education services at a distance, and seeks to advance the scientific, cultural and civilizational aspects of society, keep pace with modern trends in higher education and technological development, and contribute to building generations within the framework of Islamic values.
Perhaps the most important tasks of academic affairs at the university are to follow up on colleges and departments in developing study plans and programs, as well as supervising the process of developing plans, study programs, evidence and models that achieve distinguished and advanced performance, as well as following up on developments about plans in other universities and benefiting from them.
Here, in academic affairs, we would like to call on the academic and administrative staff to make the utmost effort in an effort to bring the university to a high and advanced level, as well as in an effort to achieve the university’s goals, and I believe that we have the determination, the will, and the ability, with the grace of God Almighty, to achieve this.
