- Assisting colleges and departments in setting up programs in line with the development process, choosing the means to achieve this, and proposing new mechanisms for the development of study plans and programs.
- Supervising the process of developing study plans and programs.
- Supervising the preparation of the study schedule for students.
- Supervising the preparation of the study schedule for faculty members.
- Preparing guides, plans and models that achieve outstanding and advanced performance in preparing study plans and following up on developments about plans in other universities to benefit from them.
- Coordinating with the relevant authorities to organize workshops and training courses in the field of study plans and programs.
- Coordinating with other colleges in the university regarding joint courses and general courses.
- Coordinating with the Deanship of Admission and Registration and the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university to solve student problems.
- Providing the necessary academic services to students, including coordinating with other educational authorities regarding the approval of educational certificates and academic correspondence.
- Supervising the implementation of the executive regulations and rules for the regulations of studies and examinations for the university level.
- Supervising the academic affairs units.
