About the department

The Department of Islamic Studies is one of the important departments of the College of Islamic Studies. The department teaches the courses of the Bachelor’s program. It is a general program in which the student studies a group of Islamic studies courses over a period of four years. In each academic year, there are two semesters. Each semester represents a self-contained level of study. The student is subsequently awarded a Bachelor's degree.

The program aims to prepare graduates specialized in the field of Islamic studies, who are able to highlight the method of moderation in calling to Allah, to distance themselves from extremism and extremism, and to achieve righteous examples in all aspects of life.
