About the college
The College of Islamic Studies was established as the first college in the Islamic University of Minnesota; The college grants bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in the following departments: Department of the Holy Qur'an and its sciences, Department of the Prophet's Sunnah and its sciences, Department of Contemporary Doctrines, Department of Islamic Studies, Department of Islamic Studies in English, Department of Da'wah and Islamic Culture.
The college seeks excellence and quality through the continuous development of curricula and study plans for all its departments.
The college provides undergraduate programs in the departments of Islamic Studies in Arabic and Islamic Studies in English.
It also provides postgraduate programs only in other departments of the college, namely: the Department of the Holy Qur’an and its sciences, the Department of the Prophet’s Sunnah and its sciences, the Department of Contemporary Doctrines, the Department of Da’wah and Islamic Culture, and the Department of Islamic Studies in English includes the undergraduate and postgraduate levels within the college.
