Praise be to God, and may blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
The Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods is one of the academic departments in the College of Educational Sciences/University
Islamic State in Minnesota/ Main Center.
The department aspires to achieve leadership and excellence in preparing competent educational leaders in the field of curricula and teaching methods, and preparing skilled cadres capable of improving teaching, in accordance with the highest quality standards.
The department adopts a set of goals that it seeks to achieve, the most important of which are:
- Developing the ability to understand theories and approaches related to curricula, their foundations, organizations, evaluation and development.
- Introducing the foundations and rules of teaching and using modern teaching, teaching and learning methods, strategies and methods based on positive interaction.
- Developing scientific research to keep pace with modern developments in the field of curricula and teaching methods.
- Strengthening the role of curricula in instilling spiritual and moral values and Islamic identity.
The department offers its students three specialized programs:
- Master’s program in Curriculum and Teaching Methods/Thesis track.
- Master’s program in Curriculum and Teaching Methods / Courses Track.
- Doctorate program in curricula and teaching methods.
