The department seeks professionally to qualify students to develop their knowledge for themselves in order to build their own visions in the fields of teaching and learning, to be individuals capable of developing their students' knowledge through diversification and modernization of strategies, to understand students' needs and interests, and to build educational experiences that respond to learners' needs.

Department's vision  is to be a distinguished department academically, research and pioneering, in order to reach advanced international levels. 

Department Mission

Department mission is to prepare academically qualified, research and pioneering human cadres in the field of educational and educational sciences who are able to compete in the local, regional and global labor market, and to provide specialized research, training and advisory services to help face challenges and keep pace with global changes.

Department Goals

Developing students' scientific research skills by improving their ability to critically read published research and helping them to engage in research projects that address some educational problems or issues within specialized research courses or during the multiple courses for which the student registers in the program

Work on developing and enhancing aspects related to professional ethics

Motivating students to practice reflective thinking in their field practice in their training or work sites, and to criticize the knowledge and some of the practices given to them

Emphasis on modern trends in understanding human behavior (individual and societal) and in practices related to their field of work

Promoting the value of understanding and accepting the other as a tool to promote democracy, equality and social justice

Developing the leadership competencies of the faculty and administrative staff at the college

Providing a research teaching environment, to achieve efficiency and effectiveness, both internal and external

Establishing strategic partnerships and effective agreements with relevant authorities to exchange experiences and knowledge
