Virtual Rooms Department

1) Establishing educational rooms for lectures (each lecture has special rooms with a special time) and its links are different from other lectures, even if in the same section, provided that the link to the lecture is fixed throughout the semester period.

This is for the following reasons: 

• Several problems appeared in one of the previous chapters, where students enter lectures that are still running, and there is no privacy for the subject or the students during the lectures.
•  He occupied many halls, where the secretary or the lecturer used to try all the halls, and what he found empty, he held a compensatory lecture in it without referring to the administrative units. 
• Previously, there was no name for the lecture recording, which made it difficult to withdraw the recordings. 

2) Modifying the dates of lectures in the virtual rooms are as follows:

• The head of the department or his representative sends an official letter with a request to amend a lecture in the department, and it contains the basic lecture data to be modified, then the required amendment (whether a date or a change of records).
• The department is reviewing the hall schedules to ensure availability of the date suggested by the lecturer. 
• When the date suggested by the lecturer is available, the section will prepare the link for the compensatory lecture and it will contain the following: 
  • The lecture should be on the same main link if the proposed date is available in the same hall as the lecture. 
  • Another link should be established in another hall for the required compensatory lecture. 
  •  If a room is not available at the date suggested by the lecturer, the person who submitted the request will be informed that the appointment is not available and requested another appointment.
• The letter shall be answered by completing the required amendment and sending proof of that.

3) Establishing compensatory rooms for lectures, in which the following will be available:

• The lecturer or his representative sends a request for a compensatory lecture, including a proposal for the required day and time with the basic lecture data. 
• The department is reviewing the hall schedules to ensure availability of the date suggested by the lecturer. 
• When the date suggested by the lecturer is available, the section will prepare the link for the compensatory lecture and it will contain the following:
  • The lecture should be on the same main link if the proposed date is available in the same hall as the lecture. 
  •  Another link should be established in another hall for the required compensatory lecture.
• If a room is not available at the date suggested by the lecturer, the person who submitted the request will be informed that the appointment is not available and requested another appointment.

4) Establishing rooms for conducting seminar sessions and discussions of the Graduate Studies Unit and providing their recordings.

5) Establishing rooms to hold sessions and meetings at available times and provide their records.

6) The unit is responsible for live broadcasting on the university page (Facebook) of courses or discussions when requested.

7) Solving the problems facing the educational rooms during the lecture.

8) Holding courses and meetings to qualify the secretaries to deal with Zoom, Telegram, and everything related to the course of the educational process during the lecture (if necessary).
