A brief overview of the Center

The Center for Training, Development and Community Programs at the main center of the Islamic University of Minnesota is a specialized center in everything related to training, development and capacity building. The center was established with the aim of linking the university with the community by providing multiple training services.

The center works to develop the capacities of faculty members, staff and students at the university, by implementing training courses in various fields and specializations. To meet the university's training needs, with the aim of achieving better performance that helps achieve the university's goals. 

The Center seeks to build bridges of cooperation with private and public institutions and all relevant sectors. And to enhance ways of communicating with the community, which the university seeks, through achieving its objectives, to contribute to its development, training, interaction with it, and the advancement of its members through the establishment of training programs that meet the needs of the labor market and society. 

Vision

The Center for Training, Development and Community Programs at the university seeks to be a center of local and regional excellence  center in the field of training, and contributes to building and developing the capacities of the university's employees and community institutions.

Mission

Providing distinguished training programs and consultations in accordance with international standards of quality, and to meet the needs of the university and the community in order to reach a better performance that helps achieve the goals of the university.

Objectives

The Training and Development Center at the university aims to provide distinctive training services to institutions and individuals with efficiency, effectiveness, professionalism, and trusted confidence as follows:

  1. Developing training plans based on scientific foundations that meet the needs of the university and public institutions in the country.
  2. Designing training programs according to the required needs for skills and capabilities development for individuals in both the public and private sectors, meeting the needs of the market and the community.
  3. Providing training and advisory proposals to relevant entities in accordance with applicable regulations.
  4. Continuous development and improvement of training programs based on needs and feedback from the target groups.
  5. Enhancing partnerships and collaboration with local and international training institutions in accordance with regulatory frameworks.
  6. Striving to obtain international accreditation for the implemented training courses and diplomas within the center.
  7. Enhancing the performance efficiency of trainers and staff at the center to enhance its competitive position.
  8. Providing an excellent training environment.
  9. Promoting the culture of development and self-learning.
