Overview
The Deanship of Information Technology plays its role as a pillar of the university, as it works to provide the latest programs, services, consultations, and statistics for the educational, cultural, research, and administrative sectors. This is all to make the university a technical model to be followed at the level of emerging universities.
Deanship Vision
The vision of the Deanship is to achieve scientific excellence for the Islamic University of Minnesota in the field of university education and scientific research through the use of information and communication technology.
Deanship Mission
The Deanship's mission is to provide integrated and advanced electronic services through a strong information structure that helps advance the educational and research process, and to develop the various university entities to provide information, statistical data and reports necessary to support the university system and cooperate with other universities, research centers, government and private agencies.
Strategic Goals of the Deanship
- Preparing the university's strategic plan in the field of information technology and following up on its implementation.
- Making available modern technological services and benefiting from them to raise the efficiency of the educational, research and administrative process in accordance with international standards.
- Transitioning to electronic administration by automating the administrative and educational system.
- Assisting the university community in digital transformation and transforming the university into a smart university.
- Supporting decision makers at all levels by making the required data available on a dashboard accurately and quickly enough.
- Building the capacity of the university community in the use of information and communication technology.
- Raising the level of technological knowledge of the community surrounding the university by providing training services on communication and information technology.
- Establishing and supervising information technology units in the faculties of the university.
- Enriching the university's digital content in accordance with international standard specifications.
- Raising the efficiency of the university community to benefit from digital knowledge content.
