Dr. Salah Alawi Hussein Al Sharafi

The Deanship is constantly striving to continuously develop the services provided, and to actively contribute to the development of the educational process through the application of best technical practices and the provision of the necessary infrastructure and technical support for all university departments, branches and employees. The deanship works towards achieving its goals through a team of specialists, both male and female, and in light of the unlimited guidance and support it receives from the university administration. 

The Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education is one of the supporting deanships of the Islamic University of Minnesota, which works to provide all digital services to the university's sectors and employees, in addition to developing the digital infrastructure necessary to enable the educational process. 
Since the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education is also responsible for e-learning services, it has sought to benefit from the presence of the distinguished digital environment in the university in providing a secure environment to facilitate the process of communication between faculty members and students and to provide systems, services and programs that contribute to facilitating and increasing student achievement. 

We are still in the Deanship of Information Technology striving to develop the technical projects developed by the Deanship and the electronic systems and services it provides to students, employees, faculty members and university visitors, as well as the distinguished relations with partners in line with modern technology.
