Overview of the unit

The issue of ensuring the development, quality and accreditation of educational institutions and their academic programs is one of the important and urgent issues. Therefore, it has become imperative for the Islamic University, with its faculties and departments, to upgrade this ancient institution and pay attention to the application of the comprehensive quality system and the adoption of solid scientific standards to evaluate the performance and quality of the colleges and their departments and the various academic programs it offers.

 The Development and Quality Unit has taken upon itself the task of developing and upgrading this institution and its academic programs by defining the main axes on which the process of quality assurance and accreditation of academic programs is based and what is included in each ax of indicators, elements and characteristics that must be achieved as basic requirements for applying for a certificate of quality and accreditation.

 The Islamic University, the main center in the state of Minnesota - US, seeks to develop and apply the principles of quality and to develop to improve the efficiency of the faculty and staff at the university and to ensure the quality of the outputs of the university’s academic programs. Therefore, the university is keen to provide scientific and administrative competencies and provide a learning environment and graduate competencies capable of innovation, creativity and regional and global competition.

Mission

The university aims to carry out tasks and it should accurately define its distinctive characteristics, indicating its role in satisfying the needs of the community it serves, the characteristics of the student it accepts, the specifications of the graduate it prepares, and the provision of an appropriate teaching and learning environment for each of the students, faculty and staff within quality standards and international standards. 

Goals

  • Reviewing, updating and developing the colleges' work plans. 
  • Reassuring the recipient of the service that the Islamic University of interest has specific and appropriate goals and that it has created the appropriate conditions through which it can achieve its goals and mission effectively and that it maintains a constant level of achievements, goals and mission and that it has organizational structures that employ qualified and effective cadres and that it provides financial, material and human support that It makes one expect the continuity of its distinguished and effective performance.
  • The final goals that it seeks to achieve in its graduates as a final outcome of the total educational activities that students go through since joining the university until they graduate from it and follow them up after graduation.
