Head of the Department's Message
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the page of the Department of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers (Bachelor’s Program), a department that carries an academic and educational mission that seeks to spread the Arabic language globally and to prepare learners who are capable of acquiring it in accordance with the latest theories and practices in the field of language teaching.
In light of the increasing demand for learning Arabic around the world, the department works to offer a comprehensive academic program directed to students from various languages and cultures, with the aim of enabling them to reach an advanced level of proficiency in the Arabic language and to build solid linguistic and communicative competence.
At this stage, we are keen to build a strong academic foundation in teaching Arabic and applied linguistics, in addition to practical training in modern teaching strategies, the design of instructional materials, and the use of digital technologies in language teaching. We also provide field training opportunities that enable students to practice teaching in real environments under specialized academic supervision.
The department is committed to standards of quality and academic excellence and seeks to provide a supportive learning environment that promotes effective learning and cultural communication.
