Department head’s speech
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the end is for the righteous, and there is no aggression except against the oppressors, and prayers and peace be upon the most noble of messengers, our Master Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions, as for what follows:
No nation can rise to the brink of glory without having an educational renaissance based on sound methodological foundations and visions. Hence, our college, the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, raises a banner of welcome to all its employees, and is aware of the dimensions of what the nation expects from it.
The Department of Contemporary Doctrine and Doctrines at the College includes a distinguished elite of qualified faculty members who are making a commendable effort to implement the vision and mission of the department that is in line with the vision and mission of the College and University, and to graduate specialized researchers who contribute to serving their faith and the Islamic nation in various parts of the globe.
We ask God for success and payment for all, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and all his family and companions.
