Doctorate Awarded to Researcher Abdulrahman Halifa Sado

A public discussion session was held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 9:00 PM Mecca time, to discuss the thesis titled "The Simple Sentence Structure in the Arabic and Songhai Languages: A Descriptive Comparative Study." The discussion committee decided to award a doctorate to researcher Abdulrahman Halifa Sado Jallo from Mali.
The discussion was overseen by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Islamic University of Minnesota, Main Center, within the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, College of Arts and Humanities. The committee consisted of Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Abu Zaid, Head of the Arabic Language and Literature Department, as Chair; Dr. Asma Al-Bashir Mohammed, faculty member at the university, as Supervisor and Rapporteur; Associate Professor Dr. Ali El-Shboul, faculty member, as Internal Discussant; Dr. Taher Fayez Abdulal, faculty member, as External Discussant; and Associate Professor Dr. Sahar Al-Sumadi, faculty member, as External Discussant.
This discussion is part of ongoing efforts to support scientific research and enhance the level of graduate studies at Minnesota Islamic University.
