Research Plan Approved for Researcher Awad Al-Qarhi

Following a seminar session supervised by the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main campus, the research plan prepared by researcher Awad Mohammed Atiyan Al-Qarhi was approved. The study will address the topic "Pope Innocent IV (1243-1254 CE / 641-652 AH) and the Crusader Strategy: Reshaping the Crusader Project and the Impact of His Policies on the Seventh Crusade and His Relations with European Powers, the Mongols, and the Mamluks."
The session was held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 10:00 PM Mecca time, as part of the researcher’s efforts to earn a PhD from the Department of History and Archaeology in the College of Arts and Humanities.
The seminar committee that discussed and approved the plan consisted of Associate Professor Dr. Siham Abdulbaqi, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, as the chair, and included Dr. Solaf Faid Allah Hassan as the academic advisor, Dr. Abdulbaqi Al-Qattan, and Associate Professor Dr. Islam Abu Zaid.
