Approval Granted for Research Plan by PhD Researcher Umamah Ghadban
Approval has been granted for the research plan of PhD researcher Umamah Ghadban in the Department of History and Archaeology, where she is expected to study "Islamic Conquests and Their Impact on Cultural Life During the Era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (40-11 AH / 632-661 CE)."
This approval followed the discussion of her plan in a seminar session held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 9:00 PM Mecca time, under the supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main center - College of Arts and Humanities.
The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Siham Abdulbaqi, head of the Department of History and Archaeology, serving as Chair, Dr. Walaa Mohammed Mahmoud as Supervisor, Dr. Mohammed Said Othameneh as Supervisor, and Dr. Fathi Shaaban Ibrahim as a member.
