The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Department of Arabic for Non-Native Speakers, held a academic seminar session on Sunday evening via video conferencing to discuss a research proposal titled "An Applied Analytical Study of Selected Arabic Teaching and Learning Methodologies for Non-Native Speakers: A Field Study in the United States of America."

Doctoral researcher Layla Abdulwahed Noman Qasem presented her research proposal, which examines prominent methodologies used in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, with an applied analysis considering the American educational context and its impact on developing teaching methods and improving learning outcomes.

The discussion panel was chaired by Dr. Ali El-Shboul, Head of the Department of Arabic for Non-Native Speakers, and included Dr. Ahmed Adel Shaban Mohammed, Dr. Sa'da Ali Abu Sini, and Dr. Yousri Hassan. The panel provided constructive academic feedback that enriched the research proposal and directed it toward more specialized and in-depth avenues of inquiry.
