Meeting to Discuss Progress of Early Childhood Department

Minnesota, 10 October 2024  - The Head of the Early Childhood Department at the College of Educational Sciences at the Islamic University of Minnesota, Dr Nabila Masoud, held a faculty meeting in the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Abdullah Abdulnabi, on Thursday at 7pm Makkah time.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr Nabila welcomed the attendees, including Dr Nourhan Salama, the college's Director of Administrative Affairs, before moving on to discuss the topics on the agenda. The most prominent issues included following up on the progress of work in the department, preparing for the final exams, and preparing curricula and descriptions for the next semester.

Proposals from His Excellency the UQU Vice President, Dr. Omar Al-Meqrami, regarding organising specialised training courses for the Early Childhood Department were also reviewed, in addition to Dr. Rawan Al-Mufleh's proposal regarding honouring students periodically, in addition to the honouring carried out by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

Dr Issam Abayneh suggested providing hard copies of references for students, while Dr Ali Dawahda suggested diversifying between objective and essay questions in the exams. It was also emphasised that measures should be taken to prevent the leakage of exam questions to students.

At the end of the meeting, Dr Nabila Masoud expressed her thanks to all attendees for their response to holding this meeting.
