Outstanding Student Projects in "Media and Sustainable Development"

As part of the course "Media and Sustainable Development," designed to train PhD students in the Public Relations department, three students completed remarkable media projects under the supervision of Dr. Ibrahim Taha Al-Ajlouni. These projects were part of the assignment to "Produce Empowering Media Content," and the students dedicated two weeks to creativity and practical application.
- Sundus Shahwan presented an awareness video titled "Empowering Women," which focused on the essential roles of women in the family and society, their rights to education, health, and political participation, while correcting misconceptions about the legal texts related to them.
- Amin Atoul chose to produce a podcast titled "After Empowering Women," where he discussed the changes that occurred after women gained new rights, emphasizing the need for balance between women's and men's rights and avoiding turning their relationship into a conflict.
- Hanan Al-Mubarak produced a video titled "Community Initiatives for Water Provision," which highlighted the story of a Sudanese businessman who dug fifteen solar-powered wells and planted date palm trees, contributing to alleviating the effects of the civil war on the population.
These projects align with the media college's goals to equip students with practical skills in the field of media by integrating academic knowledge with hands-on experience. The college aims to empower students to produce content that addresses social and developmental issues with a critical and creative approach, ensuring the preparation of a generation of media professionals capable of making a positive and sustainable impact.
