Conference Administration Launches Strategic Plan 2025

Conference Administration Launches Strategic Plan 2025

The Conferences and Seminars Administration at the Islamic University of Minnesota has announced the launch of its "Strategic Plan 2025" under the slogan "Ensuring Safe Knowledge Services," on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

The plan aims to qualify graduates and those wishing to develop their capabilities and refine their knowledge skills to ensure their inclusion in job opportunities in both private and public sectors. To achieve these goals, two detailed plans have been established: the pre-conference and seminar pathway, which includes several elements, and the post-conference and seminar pathway, which consists of two levels: direct and indirect.

The plan specifies several immediate values achieved through conferences and seminars, with each value representing a project that will have its own committee. Among these values is the establishment of an information system (DATA) that can be exchanged in the future.

The plan also outlines the support required from the Conferences and Seminars Administration to the colleges and departments, and vice versa.

In a related context, the News Administration received a memorandum from Dr. Imad Ahmed Al-Khatib, Director of the Conferences and Seminars Administration, regarding the integrated project for the program. Dr. Al-Khatib requested the approval of all university staff to set the project date as the month of Ramadan each year, noting that the administration's slogan is "Quality in Providing Safe Knowledge Care Worldwide" and its core values are knowledge, development, and productivity.

Doctor Al-Khatib explained that the program aims to invest the energies of young graduates by honing their skills to meet labor market needs, in collaboration with several international centers and organizations.

He called on academic and administrative staff at the university to cooperate in implementing the project through the conferences and seminars organized by the colleges and departments. He expressed hope that opportunities would open up for thousands of students to engage in labor markets.

Al-Khatib confirmed that the administration would focus on promoting the idea of practical training, targeting the refinement of graduates' skills and their preparation for work in diverse fields, including digitization, automation, and other areas. He also announced the administration's efforts to secure partners for collaboration on the project, noting that correspondence with partners had recently concluded.

In closing the memorandum, Dr. Al-Khatib requested all university staff to notify the Conferences and Seminars Administration about any internal or external conference or seminar and to plan for holding an internal conference for each college or department. He also announced a prize for the college or department that demonstrates the most effectiveness in conferences, seminars, and training sessions starting from Ramadan 2026, emphasizing the importance of coordinating efforts to achieve the highest quality standards.
