Graduates Honored as 'Simplified Fiqh' Course Concludes with Certified Certificates

On Sunday, February 1, 2025, Dr. Manal Mustafa, Head of the Islamic Studies Department in English at the College of Islamic Studies and Director of the Da'wah Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, distributed university-certified certificates to the graduates of the "Simplified Fiqh" course, which spanned ten weeks.
The course was organized in collaboration between the Da'wah Center of the Islamic University and the Tartil Quran Institute in Melbourne, Australia. It focused on the book "Simplified Fiqh," with weekly lectures delivered by Dr. Manal Mustafa, starting from Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The course included periodic assessments followed by a final exam to measure the participants' level of comprehension.
Dr. Manal noted that the number of participants in the course reached 100 students, expressing her delight at the "remarkable" results achieved, which confirmed the intended benefits of the course. She also extended her gratitude to the administration of the Tartil Quran Institute in Melbourne for their effective cooperation in the success of the course. Additionally, she praised the efforts of Ms. Amal Mohammed, the Executive Secretary of the Da'wah Center, who supervised the organization of the course, welcomed attendees, prepared the exams, and provided all necessary requirements.
On the sidelines of the course's conclusion, an in-person celebration was held at the Tartil Quran Institute in Melbourne, where Dr. Manal met with some of the course participants and, in cooperation with the institute's administration, distributed certificates to the graduates. During the event, the Islamic University of Minnesota was introduced in detail through the distribution of informational brochures, and an agreement was reached to continue this collaboration between the two parties in organizing similar courses in the future.
