Dawah Center Hosts Lecture on Scientific Miracles of Animals in Quran and Sunnah

As part of the lecture series for the program “In the Realm of the Scientific Miracles of the Qur’an”, the Da’wah Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota – Main Center, organized the second lecture of the program on Saturday, November 29, 2025, titled: “An Introduction to the Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah: Animals and Birds as a Model”, held via Zoom at 9:00 p.m. Makkah time.
The lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Naser Sunna, member of the Administrative Council of the International Union of Scholars of Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and former Head of the Surgery Department at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University. The session was moderated by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shuqairi, Vice President of the Da’wah Center.
The lecture highlighted key methodological approaches to understanding the scientific miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah, presenting practical examples from the world of animals and birds, and linking sacred texts with modern scientific findings in a scholarly manner that combines authenticity with precision.
This event is part of the monthly scientific program implemented by the Da’wah Center, under the direct supervision of the Center’s Director, Dr. Manal Mustafa. The program takes place every Saturday and features a distinguished group of scholars and specialists in the field of scientific miracles.
The session witnessed notable interaction from participants, who praised the scientific depth and importance of the lecture in enhancing awareness of legislative and cosmic miracles, emphasizing the need to continue such initiatives that connect modern sciences with the guidance of revelation.
On the sidelines of the event, the Da’wah Center expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Nasser Sunna, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shuqairi, and all participants, praying that these efforts be counted among their good deeds and that such purposeful scientific programs be blessed.
