Al-Refaei Lectures on Islam Approach to Environmental Preservation

MINNESOTA, August 21, 2024: The Islamic Da'wah Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota, Main Center hosted an interactive lecture titled "Islam's Approach to Environmental Preservation: A Scientific and Islamic Perspective." The lecture was delivered by Dr. Omar Al-Refaei, a scholar with numerous hadith licenses from the Azhari Institute, including licenses in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, and a PhD candidate in Hadith and its Sciences at Al-Azhar University.

The lecture was held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 9 to 10 PM Mecca Time, via the ZOOM application.

The lecture addressed the concept of the environment and its importance in Islam, how Islam has cared for the environment, the Islamic principles necessary for its preservation, and the ways in which Islam protects the elements of the environment.

The lecture was attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and staff at the university. It sparked significant interaction among the attendees, and everyone praised the importance of the topic and the need to pay attention to it.
