Approval of Research Plan on Role of Islamic Sukuk in Economic Development

A scientific committee from the Department of Islamic Economics and Banking, chaired by Dr. Hiyam Al-Zoubi, Head of the Department, has approved the research plan prepared by Egyptian researcher Mohamed Sayed Darwish Hussein. The study aims to conduct an analysis of "Role of Islamic Sukuk in Achieving Economic Development in Egypt," as part of his efforts to obtain a PhD from the College of Economics and Business Administration.

The committee held a seminar session to discuss the plan on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 4:30 PM Mecca time, under the supervision of the Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main center.

In addition to the chair, the committee included Dr. Saad Al-Din Khaled and Dr. Yaseen Ramadan as members.
