Training Center Hosts Course on Building Positive Change Culture

The Training and Development Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota organized a training course titled "Building Positive Change Culture," delivered by Dr. Ishraq Zain Al-Abedin Majthoub, an Assistant Professor in the Marketing Department. The course was held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, for two hours from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Makkah time).

The course aimed to establish a work environment supportive of continuous change, enhance positive values associated with change, develop initiatives to instill a culture of learning and transformation, engage everyone in the change-making process as an institutional approach, and reduce fears related to change through deeper understanding.

The curriculum covered the concept of change culture and its impact on institutional performance, the difference between compulsory change and cultural change, and the symbols and indicators of institutional culture. It also addressed building programs that enhance acceptance of change, fostering shared values and circles of influence, and how employees can make a difference, as well as measuring the cultural impact of change within the institution.

The course targeted senior and middle management, performance and quality development officials, and institutional communication and guidance staff, as part of the first training program on "Organizational Change Management," organized by the center in collaboration with the College of Economics and Business.
