Training Center Hosts Training Course on Leading Teams During Administrative Transformations

The Training and Development Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota organized a training course titled "Leading Teams During Administrative Transformations," delivered by Dr. Shaimaa Adel Tantawi, a faculty member in the College of Economics and Business. The course consisted of two lectures, with the first held on Thursday, July 3, and the second on Sunday, July 6, 2025, each lasting two hours from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Makkah time).

The course aimed to equip leaders to effectively manage their teams during periods of transformation, develop supportive and participative leadership skills, understand the psychological dynamics of teams during crises, build a positive work environment despite challenges, and manage conflicts and varying responses among team members.

The main topics of the course included understanding the leader's role during institutional transformations, managing teams under uncertainty and pressure, motivating teams to adapt and engage positively, adaptive leadership models, effective communication strategies during change, building trust and maintaining morale, and ethical leadership practices in times of change.

The course targeted department managers, educational stage leaders, academic supervisors, and project leaders, as part of the first training program on "Organizational Change Management" organized by the center in collaboration with the College of Economics and Business.
