Faculty of Economics Holds Academic Seminar to Discuss Research Proposal
The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Department of Business Administration, held an academic seminar on Friday evening via video conferencing to discuss a research proposal examining the impact of strategic management on improving employee performance in the Somali banking sector.
Doctoral researcher Abdulrahman Barkhadi Siad presented his proposal titled "The Impact of Strategic Management on Employee Performance Efficiency in Somali Banks," addressing the role of strategic management in enhancing job performance efficiency and its reflection on banks, through an applied analytical study considering the reality and challenges of the Somali banking sector.
The discussion panel was chaired by Dr. Manal Mohammed Mahmoud, Head of the Department of Business Administration, and included Dr. Fawzia Sayed Ahmed, Associate Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Halawa, and Dr. Kamal Hamed, who provided scholarly observations and research recommendations that contributed to developing and enriching the proposal.
These sessions are part of the Deanship's efforts to support scientific research, follow up with doctoral students, and enhance the quality of academic outputs across various disciplines.
