Meeting of the College Administrative Affairs Unit Manager with Team Members

An important meeting was held on Monday, April 29, 2024. The meeting was attended by Dr. Norhan Salama, the manager of the Administrative Affairs Unit, and Dr. Marwan Bataineh, the Dean of Faculty Affairs.
During the meeting, each administrative officer from different colleges presented updates on the administrative work accomplished in their respective colleges. This was followed by discussions on proposed training courses to be organized by the Training and Development Unit.
Dr. Bataineh praised the tremendous efforts made by the administrative officers in the various colleges and expressed appreciation for the significant achievements presented in the monthly report.
The meeting was also attended by administrative officers from different colleges, namely Amal Qasem from the College of Islamic Studies, Badiah Abdulqader from the College of Media, Zainab Ali Basyouni from the College of Arts and Humanities, Hanadi Abdullah from the College of Computers, Bnan Saif from the College of Economics and Business Administration, and Maryam Al Maqrami from the College of Sharia and Law. Dr. Norhan Salama was responsible for preparing the meeting minutes.
It is worth mentioning that a previous meeting of the College Administrative Affairs Unit members was held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. During the previous meeting, the progress of administrative work in the colleges was reviewed, and related issues were discussed, including archiving and updating the database, publishing regulations, procedures for dealing with faculty members' resignations or appointments, and cases of secondment and transfer.
The College Administrative Affairs Unit serves as a backbone for the university, providing administrative support to the colleges and other units. It handles financial files, human resources, contracts, reports, and other administrative tasks. The unit aims to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in college management and provide an organized and coordinated work environment.
At the end of the meeting, the importance of continuous cooperation and coordination between the Administrative Affairs Unit and the colleges was emphasized, along with the necessity of information and resource exchange to achieve the university's objectives.
This meeting serves as an important opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge and strengthen collaboration among team members. It will contribute to improving and developing administrative work in the colleges and enhancing academic excellence within the university.
