College Administrative Affairs Unit Discusses Important Initiatives

The College Administrative Affairs Unit, chaired by Dr. Nourhan Salama, held a meeting on Monday, June 20, 2024, at 9:00 PM Makkah time. The meeting brought together administrative affairs officials from various colleges to discuss important initiatives and updates.
Dr. Salama discussed the workflow of administrative affairs staff in the colleges, emphasizing the need to ensure smooth and efficient operations. An initiative was proposed to honor faculty members, with a decision to follow up on the recognition model with the media center.
Coordination was made to publish administrative instructions for faculty members regarding exams, and attendees participated in drafting these instructions, which were then published in the relevant groups. Additionally, it was agreed to publish exam schedules in the department groups after obtaining them from the control room, which was subsequently done.
Dr. Salama stressed the need to periodically remind faculty members of any administrative announcements sent to them in each college's groups. She also set a deadline for each administrative officer to submit the monthly report.
The officials were reminded of the colleges' quarterly achievement files and the need to upload them at the end of each semester to each college's page on the university's official website, which has already been done.
The meeting touched on the need to follow up on the archiving of administrative affairs, update the database continuously, transfer the files of resigned faculty members to the resigned folder, identify appointment decisions that need to be renewed, and send them to the Faculty Affairs Deanship.
Dr. Salama affirmed her commitment to sharing links to important training courses in the College Administrative Affairs Unit group to invite officials to attend. In addition, she will coordinate with Mr. Moatasem Faez, Director of the Training Center, to provide or attend more professional development opportunities.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nourhan Salama, Professor Hanadi Abdullah, Dr. Badia Abdulqader, Professor Amal Mohammed Qasem, Ms. Banan Saif Al-Maqrami, and Mr. Taher Alwan.
